Hello,
What a year! My Dad's passing on July 6th was tough on all my family. We gathered for a beautiful Thanksgiving and a wonderful Christmas too. Now the last party of the year, New Years Eve. We are going out with 20 friends to a Masquerade party. This is my dress to wear, a black tea length velvet ball gown. This dress was a gift about 28 years ago from Nordstrom's in Santa Barbara, CA. One alteration for this dress happened in Calgary, Alberta. Took the dress to Sears and manager said "I know what to do for you" I said "I hope it is what I'm thinking". They took the back zipper out and corseted the back, adding a beautiful black ribbon. Also this dress has been used for Halloween a few times; a Valentine's dance in Surrey, BC; and another Valentines dance in Calgary. So this dress has quite a history. Never goes out of style, fun to wear and the memories are long.
Hugs to all,
Blessings in 2020!
Happy New Year
Ann
