Homemade Gifts
Happy Friday, we finally have snow today in Spokane, WA! It was a bit slippery driving this morning. But we all will settle in to the new season of winter driving, Because Winter arrives on the Dec 21.
These are 2 DIY items, one is just for my dining table. The jar and ornaments came from Michael's Craft store. The jars for the Cornbread mix came from St Vincent De Paul, for inexpensive and the red Raffia, red ribbon and silver bell came from Jo-Ann fabric and craft store. The recipe for Cornbread in a jar was published in "Real Simple" dated November 2017. One 5lb bag of Aunt Jemima Yellow Corn Meal, Enriched-De germinated, filled 8 quart size jars. Easy gift to put together for anyone. Printed off 9 colour copies of the recipe page in Real Simple. If anyone is looking for a simple idea of cornbread to with chili, this is a great one!
I enjoy the colour red to wear and use in projects too.
Have a fabulous, beautiful weekend!
Ann
